I was asked by Hard//Hoofd to make ten illustrations for their collaboration with Frontaal. Their summer writing workshop centered on the theme "Ground" with ten writers exploring it through their own distinct stories and poems. I read everything and from each work I took a visual detail to turn it into an illustration. These were then combined in the collage you see up here. It's such a treat to create art based on poetry!
